Abstract

The results of a survey of 255 children with chronic colostasis on a clinical basis of the Department of Pediatric Surgery Vinnitsa National Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov. Among the children surveyed in 71,76% dominated by children of preschool and school age from 3 to 12 years. It was determined that 88,67% of patients with chronic colostasis observed abnormal mobility distal colon. The study of blood serum cholinesterase levels showed an increase of its value in children with chronic colostasis to an average of 9467,2±129,9 U/l against 8777,9±139,2 U/l (p <0,05) in children in the group control.
