Antimicrobial properties of antibiotics, decamethoxinum® end fluoroquinolones

Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of the sensitivity in clinical strains of Staphylococcus (57) to 20 antibiotics, decamethoxin®, fluoroquinolones and the determination of the activity of antimicrobial agents under unfavorable conditions of cultivation of bacteria in the presence of 5%, 10% of blood serum proteins. There was proved in experiments with presence of blood proteins the high antimicrobial activity of decamethoxinum®, decasan®, horosten®, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin against Staphylococci. There was shown that decamethoxinum®, decasan®, horosten®, ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin had a good prospect of their use for prevention, treatment of inflammatory diseases.
