To solve the tasks and objectives of the study to determine the clinical and epidemiological components of the study, 147 cases of bilateral fractures of the femur and polytrauma were analyzed. As indicated by the analysis of the sex characteristics among the victims with bilateral fractures of the femur and polytrauma, patients of the age group of 51-60 years are most often found, it is not typical for the age structure of polytrauma. Among men younger than 30 years, men predominate, which are 1,9 times more common than women, indicates that bilateral hip fractures are more common in young men.
