The use of lipid-lowering agents (PUFA -3 and Simvastatin) provided a reduction in the number of hepatocytes with fatty degeneration of the cytoplasm, necrotic hepatocytes, and leukocyte infiltration in rats with NAFLD+HHС. The greater anti-steatogenic effect was manifested with the use of PUFA -3 than with Simvastatin, as evidenced by a reduced degree of steatosis of the liver (1.20±0.20 points against 2.20±0.20 points, p<0.05).
