Abstract

On the basis of various kinds of morpho-histology, immunohistochemical studies identified structural features of the different types of fat tissue: the visceral (omentum) and subcutaneous. It was found that these types of adipose tissue are distinguished not only by location, but have fundamental differences: in the number and size of fat cells, the concentration of fat in the fat vacuoles, the difference in the composition of connective tissue and parenchymal components in the quantitative composition expressing proinflammatory cytokine receptors TNF -a and IL-6, insulin, and cortisol, which causes them to different functional significance in the body.
