Abstract

The study is based on performing analysis of the anamnesis data, the initial state of health, the course of pregnancy and other characteristics of 86 women with multiple pregnancies, which had preterm labor between 27 to 36 weeks of the gestation period (main group), and 463 women, which gave birth after full-term multiple pregnancies (control group). A modified model for predicting the risk of premature birth in women with multiple pregnancies was developed. The model can be used to individually forecast preterm delivery in women of this category and to evaluate more accurately its risk comparing to the assessment of the risk based on a single predictive factor.
