Abstract

Own comprehensive experimental studies (x-ray histomorphological and biomechanical, computer simulation) have convincingly demonstrated the advantages in strength of fixation and effect on bone tissue surrounding domestic alloy (Zr-Ti) with a low modulus of elasticity, in comparison with alloys that are widely used in modern traumatology (WT-6 and 316 L). The analysis of these data became the basis for the development of the algorithm of operative treatment of femur fractures with implants with different elastic modulus. The recommended use of the alloy Zr-Ti in patients with the most severe - type of AO classification of fractures of the diaphysis of the femur (segmental and comminuted fractures). Implementation and application of the proposed algorithm, and accordingly a differentiated approach regarding the manufacture of metal clamps for carrying out the metalosteosynthesis of various metal alloys in patients with fractures of the femur will help to improve the efficiency of surgical treatment, to reduce the postoperative complication rate, time of disability and disability.
