Children age clinical peculiarities of herpesinfections
Abstract
Herpes virus infections today are among the most common in the world. In the literature, the properties of herpesviruses, epidemiology, features of immune processes, the traditional on syndromic clinical picture of the acute period of the disease are described in sufficient detail, while the final solution of the problem of the duration of the infectious process is absent, which emphasizes the urgency of monitoring issues. We have revealed the features of clinical changes in the examined children. Thus, in children of early age with herpesvirus infection, nasopharyngeal lesions predominated, more pronounced manifestations of intoxication, hepatolienal syndromes and metabolic disturbances, while in adolescents there was a more significant and stable increase in lymph nodes with less pronounced involvement in the parenchymal organs. The general blood test for herpes virus infection in children has some peculiarities depending on the phase of the disease - at the beginning of leukocytosis with neutrophilia and accelerated ESR, it changes rather quickly the normalization of leukocytes, lymphocytosis, accelerated ESR.
