Abstract

In the work an analysis of the methods of deparaffinisation and methods of DNA extraction was carried out and it was determined the most effective method of molecular-genetic investigation of formalin fixed biological tissues in the form of “paraffin blocks”. It has been shown that there is a relationship between methods of deparaffinisation and DNA extraction methods. The proposed by us method III of the deparaffinisation and extraction of DNA is optimal for conducting forensic-medicine molecular-genetic investigation of formalin fixed biological tissues in the form of “paraffin blocks”.
